You will act as liaison between members and our financial institution, and you will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.
Other Responsibilities include the following functions:
phone inquiries, account opening and maintenance, processing account transactions, and all other services as needed.
Provide personalized service to members in all initiatives with a positive attitude, cheerful outlook, and an enthusiasm to get the job done.
DUTIES:
Greet members and responds to their needs or directs them to the appropriate person.
Educate members on various types of accounts and services and make recommendations based on their needs.
Key all member transactions and balance cash drawer for accuracy.
Transactions including, but not limited to; processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cash checks, official checks and wire transfers, etc.
Assist members in all areas of consumer lending:
Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them Complete loan contracts and counsel members on policies and restrictions Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas Go the extra mile to build trust relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines Adhere and comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering/OFAC Compliance program including annual BSA training, Assisting with Member Due Diligence, CTRs, SARs, and Monetary Instrument log.
Grant advances on existing open lines of credit.
Open new member's accounts and key changes in accounts.
Assist members with debit card issues, account issues.
Review loan folders for proper documentation, calculations and verify signatures.
Assist with collection of delinquent accounts.
Assist with marketing.
Answer phone, file documents, assist with mortgage and auto insurance tracking, and assist in members monthly and quarterly statements.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum high school diploma - a 4-year degree is preferred.
Must be willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
Meets members needs in the area of consumer lending.
Makes lending decisions consistent with TCP CU loan policies.
Meets compliance and regulatory standards in terms of loan processing, delinquency control, loan quality and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, a neat appearance and friendly helpful manner are essentials.
Should have basic computer skills.
Regular attendance is mandatory.
All deposit accounts and loans in good standing.
Must be able to speak English fluently.
Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers.
Must be cordial in all interactions with members and co-workers.
Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy established by manager.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft products such as but not limited to word, excel, and outlook and have knowledge of basic computer skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Uses hands and fingers to count money to complete member transactions.
Uses fingers to press keys on computer keyboard or calculator.
Uses hands and fingers to lift telephone receiver to answer incoming calls and transfer such calls to appropriate destination.
Maintains manual cash drawer, counting currency daily to balance cash drawer.
Sits 70%, Stands 20%, and walks 10% of the time.
Must be able to communicate clearly and listen well.
Must be able to comprehend and conduct verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to lift 10 lbs.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
